I pay closer attention to ads than the average person, it’s in my blood now. In fact, my family members giggle at my constant observation and commentary about it. The ad that keeps catching my ear recently, is “success without integrity is nothing”. Integrity, of all our pillars, that is the one that evokes the most visceral reaction out of me. In our family we say “Integrity is what you do when no one is watching”. It defines who you are. It keeps you accountable. It’s a testament to your character. Its more rare in business that I would like to admit…but not here.
This year has been perhaps the biggest year of transition in DSA’s history. This year, our founders officially handed over the keys to the agency and retired. They have entrusted us with their legacy. They have afforded us deep roots and wide open spaces.
This year we went from a sole proprietorship to a Network lead by five partners. Five partners who share the same values and belief in our pillars- Integrity, Honesty and Respect.
We’re blessed, all of us, and we know it. We’re blessed to have each other, to have amazing clients, to have the opportunity to make an impact. We want our clients to succeed and we want to be instrumental in that. We’ve got the talent, the resources, the skills, the tools and the passion…but we are nothing without the people. Nothing without these kinds of people. We don’t take anything for granted, we sincerely care and we know we are helping people be successful. We have the formula; the key ingredients are the character traits and beliefs that we all share.
We’re all excited about going into 2020! We’re affectionately referring to it as DSA 2.0
So many things will change and so many things will stay the same. Who and what we are will continue to ring true and resonate across our network, within our partnerships and throughout our industry. Our arms are linked and we are surging forward. We’ll hold true and continue to rise! We know where we came from and we’re thrilled about where we are going!
“Integrity is choosing courage over comfort; its choosing what’s right over what’s fun, fast, or easy; and its practicing your values, not just professing them”. This has been DSA for over 20 years, and it will be DSA for the next 20!
