DSA was flown to San Francisco for the Google Partners Summit from November 9-11, 2016. This Summit was awarded to agencies who participated in the Google Partners award program, and completed all the necessary requirements before the outlined deadline.
In total, over 900 people were at the Summit from all over the world, and made up 9% of Google’s total advertising spend. The Summit was held at the Westin St. Francis, and we heard from many speakers, such as Ruth Porat, Google’s CFO, Margaret Neale, professor at Stanford University, and Brad Bender, Google’s VP of Display and Video, to name a few.
During the Summit, DSA learned about new products and services being launched, as well as learning about company culture and focusing on customer needs. As well, we were invited to “Google on the Green”, which was a day-long outdoor networking event, that included awesome eats, outdoor games and Google product testing. This was held directly across the street from Googleplex in Mountain View, California.
